BRIMM is happy to welcome Dr. Shaun Barker as the new Director of the Mineral Deposit Research Unit (MDRU). Dr. Barker comes to us from the Centre for Ore Deposit and Earth Sciences (CODES) at the University of Tasmania in Australia, where he most recently was an Associate Professor in Economic Geology. Shaun has significant experience with the integration of geochemical and mineralogical datasets from various ore deposit types. He will be working with BRIMM on several upcoming initiatives.
