BRIMM Webinar – Decarbonization of Mines: From Challenges to Opportunities

Sustainable Mine Energy Systems,

We are excited to officially launch our Sustainable Mine Energy Systems theme with this webinar: Decarbonization of Mines: From Challenges to Opportunities. This webinar will feature presentations on developing clean energy solutions, uses for biochar in carbon capture and remediation, carbon capture in tailings, and blockchain applications in mining.

The webinar will consist of a brief introduction by our host BRIMM Director, John Steen followed by four presentations, each approximately 20 minutes long, for a total of approximately 90 minutes, with 30 minutes for questions to follow.

The webinar will be held on May 25th, 2021 at 2:00 pm PDT (7:00 am AEST & 9:00 pm GMT).
