The Challenge of Strengthening the Social and Environmental Performance of the Mining Industry

We’re excited to promote the upcoming seminar featuring R. Anthony Hodge, Adjunct Professor at the Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining Engineering at Queen’s University, who will be speaking on the UBC Point Grey Campus on November 20th. The event will be in the Forest Sciences Centre, FSC, room 1005 from 5:00-7:00.

This will be the first event in an exciting cross campus seminar series titled Mining and Minerals Extraction in a New Global Landscape. Be sure to stop by to hear him speak about social and environmental concerns in the mining industry!
