Machine learning for prediction of water pollution from mine waste

The general objective of this project is to develop machine learning tools to analyze long-term water quality monitoring data on mine sites. The algorithm developed will be applied to identify patterns and correlations between drainage chemistry and other site conditions, such as meteorological conditions. The findings of this research will help improve water quality prediction and develop strategies for prevention, control, and remediation of pollution from mine waste materials.
