Dr. Parham Samea is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering at the University of British Columbia. He has a background in Geomechanics and Geoenvironmental Engineering with a focus on modeling thermo-hydromechanical processes in porous media with application to geothermal energy and deep geological sequestration of CO2.
His research includes developing decarbonization solutions, improving energy efficiency, and investigating alternative energy solutions for reducing the carbon footprints of the mining industry.
